How it works
Aim & pour
Touch the lava lake, slide to move the aim ring and let go to lob a blob from your volcano.
Lava makes land
Lava on a bare islet makes it yours. Bigger islets give more acres of land.
Win the caldera
When the sun sets, the volcano with more land wins and the Caldera Courier prints the story.
Signature mechanics
Six fiery ideas you will only find in Vulkano. Easy to learn, fun to master.
Hot Crust
Fresh lava stays hot and can be stolen with one hit. Hit your own hot islet again to bake it into rock, or crack your rival's rock back to bare basalt.
Vent Pressure
Your volcano holds a few lava bubbles that refill over time. Throw on an empty vent and it coughs, so timing matters.
Magma Surge
A warning banner, then the lake rises and swallows the small islets. Hot lava on them melts away, rock stays. Seal in time!
Lava Turtle
A friendly turtle strolls across the lake. Tag it and all of your hot islets turn into rock at once.
Grand Eruption
Good hits in a row light the flames. When they glow, your next throw splits into three blobs.
Steady Aim
Quick flicks wobble. Hold your finger still for a moment and the aim ring shrinks for a perfect shot.

Is Vulkano free of ads and purchases?
Yes. There are no ads and nothing to buy with real money. Obsidian, the in-game currency, is only earned by playing.
Does it need the internet?
No. Every mode, including the Daily Isle and the Volcano League, works fully offline. The league rivals are computer volcanoes.
Is it suitable for young children?
Vulkano is designed for ages 3 and up: cute characters, simple touch controls, short matches and no scary or violent content.
Where is my progress saved?
Only on your device. You can start over any time with "Reset progress" in Settings.
Can I turn off vibration or the floating sparks?
Yes, both can be switched off in Settings, together with the aim arc and the aim-above-finger option.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or newer.

Vulkano ("the app") is a single-player game that works entirely on your device. This policy explains what happens with information when you use it.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store or share any personal information. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress (obsidian, upgrades, friends, cups, quests, stickers, league rating and match history) and your settings are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app removes this data.
Children
The app is suitable for children. Because no personal information is collected, no personal information about children is collected either.

All characters, artwork and text in Vulkano are owned by its developers. The App Store terms of the platform you downloaded it from also apply.

The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it working well but cannot guarantee it will always be error-free.
